THE SUPPLY OF THE ISOLATORS FOR THE TABLON ALTO VIADUCT ON THE RUMICHACA-PASTO HIGHWAY IN COLOMBIA
The supply of 112 HDRB isolators for the
TABLON ALTO Viaduct, part of the Rumichaca-Pasto highway in Colombia, was
successfully completed. This is the same project for which FPC ITALIA supplied
the pot bearings with anti-lifting system, rubber bearings and spherical
bearings with special sliding material ISOGLIDE.
The technical and the commercial departments of FPC ITALIA, in close collaboration with Freyssinet Tierra Armada Colombia, actively participated together with the designer, in the definition of the most suitable isolators according to the characteristics required by the designer himself for that bridge.
Supplied isolators have a diameter of 530mm and 700mm.
The tests were successfully carried out at the ISOLAB laboratory and the supply took place within the schedule provided for the contract.
