Construction of the San Isidro Bridge over Lempa River is completed in El Salvador

FPC ITALIA in cooperation with Fryssinet de Panama has completed the supply of the isolators and of the joints for the San Isidro Bridge in the Republic of El Salvador.
The complete project includes the costruction of a 20.5 km highway which is connecting the town of San Pablo Tacachico in the Region La Libertad, and Nueva Concepción in the Region Chalatenango.
It is a very important project, because it is providing a road connection between the South-Western and North areas of the country. Bridge over Lempa river is 200 m long.
The supplied isolators have got a diameter of 1200 mm and 800 mm, while the seismic expansion joints has a movement of 700 mm.
