XII Chilean Conference on Seismology and Earthquake Engineering - ACHISINA 2019

The event will be held from April 3^rd to 5^th 2019 at the Isla Teja Campus of the Universidad Austral de Chile, in the city of Valdivia, Los Rios Region, in one of the most famous and beautiful university campuses in Chile. Valdivia, epicenter of the largest earthquake recorded in the world in 1960, was what motivated the creation of ACHISINA, thus it will be an important opportunity to commemorate this important milestone and remember the history of what was this earthquake, one of the most studied in the world.

The Conference will deal with topics about Seismology and Seismological Engineering, Seismic Engineering, Seismic Risk, Geotechnical Seismic Engineering,

Freyssinet Products Company Italia, together with Freyssinet Chile, will actively participate in the conference, discussing the advantages of base isolation for seismic protection of structures.
